New Company in St. James Industrial Park

Aug 6

The RREC is pleased to an-nounce that an existing Missouri company has relocated into the St. James Industrial Park.
Metal Spray Concepts (MSC)owned and operated by Jeffery and Cindy Pedrotty, provides shot peening and shot peen forming services to a myriad of industries. (Shot peening is a method of forming, texturing and strengthening metal used in high stress and fatigue applications.)
“We are excited about the pros-pect of growing our company in St. James,” said Mr. Pedrotty. “My wife and I appreciate the value a smaller community offers to companies like ours. “
The company’s services enhance the capabilities of massive drill bits for oil drilling industry, gears for high speed racing vehicles, gears for aviation and maritime application and wing panels for
C-130 aircraft. The company’s handiwork is visible whenever anyone flies Southwest Airlines: their work is part of making the window component safe and reliable.
In addition to Boeing, MSC pro-vides services to Nucor, Lock-heed Martin and Halco-Parker (major drilling equipment manu-facturer).

MSC provides services “in house” and also designs and builds shot peening machines and enclosures for a customer’s use at their own facility.
In addition to peening services, MSC operates a trucking line to deliver their finished products allowing them to provide those services to others in the market areas they travel. Mr. Pedrotty, a graduate of Missouri S&T (then known as the University of Mis-souri-Rolla), noted “trucking services is one of the growth opportunities we see at this new site.”
The Pedrotty’s opened their original facility in Cuba, Mo. In 2010. Continued growth
necessitated additional space and the former St. James Tool & Dye building, in St. James, was an excellent match for their needs.
